Garmin Enduro, the sportwatch with record autonomy
The Garmin world has a new protagonist: it's called Enduro and it's the sportwatch designed to meet the needs of the most extreme runners. The name evokes memories of long-distance races faced to the utmost to overcome any adversity.
The new smart and digital watch offers a series of features dedicated to runners and hikers thanks to its body and its solar recharge that can go up to 300 days in simple smartwatch mode and, with a full charge, it is possible to use it in GPS up to 70 hours which, thanks to solar charging, could extend up to 80 hours. The watch comes with a light and elastic nylon strap (perfectly adaptable to any wrist size) available in gray for the model with a steel case and black for the model with a titanium case. The first weighs 72 grams while the second only 65 while the case diameter is 51 mm for both models with a 1.4-inch display.
The Enduro has been set up with as many as 30 different ready-to-use sports profiles with a particular focus on some features:
- The Trail Run V02 Max that monitors the cardiovascular level in trail running
- MTB takes into account the difficulties of the route (shown on the dial) and downhill performance to improve
- Specific ClibPro for mountain running
- InReach Mini for requests for help and rescue in inaccessible areas with little coverage of the signal
Finally, the watch is water resistant to a depth of 100 meters, is Mil-Std-810 certified to withstand shocks, drops and sudden changes in temperature, and connects to GPS, Glonass and Galileo satellite networks. Completing this model is the sapphire crystal which offers even greater safety to this model.
