Saint Honoré Tour Eiffel: a piece of history on your wrist
Saint Honoré celebrates the Eiffel Tower, one of the most iconic monuments in the world, with a very special limited edition watch. Made with authentic pieces from the tower itself, this watch is a true piece of history to wear on your wrist at all times.
Designed by the French engineer and industrialist Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris World's Fair, this 324-meter-high tower is one of the most visited monuments in France, along with the Notre-Dame Cathedral. A symbol of Paris, the "Iron Lady" is periodically restored by the engineers who maintain it. Some parts are replaced to preserve their integrity. Saint-Honoré has recovered these parts to work them and insert them into the watch.
Presented in 2015 to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the watchmaking house, the limited edition Tour Eiffel watches are the first and only ones to benefit from a bezel made from steel from the beams of Gustave Eiffel's legendary construction. Limited to 64 pieces, the watch comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the Eiffel Tower management company (SETE).
A unique and unmistakable design
The 42 mm stainless steel case features a bezel carved from an original part of the Eiffel Tower. The distinctive bronze color and grid patterns on the bezel make this watch instantly recognizable. The crown, located at 4 o'clock, is also decorated with these small grid patterns. The transparent case back allows you to admire the Sellita SW 360-1 automatic movement, while the oscillating weight is decorated with the same pattern as the bezel and crown. The case back features the engraving "Made Of Tour Eiffel”.
A dial rich in details
The dial features a grid pattern similar to that of the tower itself, with two bronze hands for the hours and minutes, treated with luminescent material for better readability in any lighting condition. In the center of the dial you can admire the decorations of the mechanism. The edge of the dial has grid details similar to those of the tower itself. There is an arch-shaped date window with a red triangle indicating the date of the day. Finally, at 7 o'clock, there is a small seconds counter, represented by a stylised wheel inspired by elevator gears.
A precise and reliable Swiss movement
The watch is powered by a Sellita SW 360-1 automatic movement, a Swiss movement known for its precision and reliability. It offers hours, minutes, small seconds and date functions. With 31 jewels and 28,000 vph, this movement has a power reserve of 42 hours.
A leather strap for an elegant look
The watch is completed with a brown leather strap with a pin buckle decorated with the famous grid patterns. The strap is 20 mm wide and fits perfectly on the wrist, ensuring high comfort.
