In high-level sport it often happens that a few fractions of a second decide victory or defeat. Today, modern measurement technologies guarantee an objective evaluation of performance but this has not always been the case: to get to today's result it took decades of work and development. Junghans since the beginning of the twentieth second has developed increasingly precise tools to record race times, just think of the manual chronometers produced in the 1920s up to the quartz technology implemented in the 1960s which allowed a qualitative leap on the road. precision. The watch is built with an elliptical case and buttons positioned high up in the style of a portable watch, while the case, recalling the style instead of a table clock, faces the viewer so that the buttons are easily operated. The small parts, on the other hand, unfold in a classic circle around the anthracite-colored dial, while the orange totalizers and the dial ring with the tachymeter scale recall the oval shape of the case.
The model is faithful to the historical model, with the 30 minute timer and the second hand being arranged vertically.
The watch has a 70s look, the sapphire crystal, the screw-down crown and the water resistance up to 10 bar guarantee sportiness anywhere and anytime.
