Quartz watches for men are the most accurate timepieces ever because they are equipped with an electronic and non-mechanical quartz movement like automatic watches. In quartz watches this material replaces the balance wheel with mechanical movement, while a battery is used as a source of energy.
But how exactly does a quartz watch work?
In these timepieces, the battery sends a small charge to the quartz crystal which in return vibrates 32,768 times per second. This value is divided electronically twice and, when it reaches 1 on the LCD screen, the second is triggered. In quartz watches with hands, however, the hand moves by one second. This process is repeated continuously, until the battery has energy to release.
The advantages of quartz watches are certainly many. In addition to their renowned precision, they are models that, not having a mechanism inside them, are not only more durable and cheaper than other models but are also thinner and lighter than automatic and mechanical watches. These characteristics make them perfect for both men and women, but also for children.
In addition to the classic battery-powered models, there are solar quartz watches in which there is no battery but an energy accumulator that uses the energy of the sun.
