This collaboration combines Oris's mechanical innovation with the creative and unique design of the Bamford Watch Department. This watch is the only one in the world to feature a Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement and a mechanical altimeter.

First developed in 2014, the ProPilot Altimeter was further improved for this edition. It can now measure altitude up to 19,700 feet and offers a 56-hour power reserve. The case is made from a carbon fiber composite, a material that is two-thirds lighter than titanium but stronger than most metals. This material was developed using a revolutionary additive manufacturing and molding technique that had never been used in watchmaking before.

George Bamford, the founder of the Bamford Watch Department, wanted to create a watch that celebrated the altimeter function, drawing inspiration from Stanley Kubrick's film "2001: A Space Odyssey". The result is a design with "80s sneaker style" and bright, high-contrast colors that improve readability. The watch is the only automatic watch in the world to have a mechanical altimeter that can indicate pressure and altitude.
