The U1-GM diver's watch, a limited edition, is the result of a collaboration between Unimatic and Grimoldi Milano. It marks Unimatic's first "Destro" (left-handed crown) watch. This timepiece takes us back to the 1970s, a decade when orange-dialed watches first appeared. Reflecting visual codes associated with the maritime world, orange was chosen for both the dial and the rubber strap, ensuring optimal time readability and high visibility, even during dives.

The U1-GM embodies the essence of professional dive watches from that era, and the clean lines of the Modello Uno pay homage to Grimoldi's historic shop in Portofino, emphasizing the prestige of Made in Italy and highlighting Italian cultural heritage. Grimoldi Milano is a family-run business, a long-standing symbol in Italian artisanal watch and jewelry production, based under the arcades of Piazza del Duomo. Carrying on the tradition since 1960, Grimoldi continues to invest in the search for innovative forms and original designs.

Grimoldi is also one of Unimatic's first retail partners worldwide. The Modello Uno ref. U1-GM is a professional Made in Italy dive watch. It features an international orange dial with white Super-LumiNova® BGW9 hour markers and dots, and a matte grey aluminum insert. The anti-reflective double-domed sapphire crystal offers the best performance in all lighting conditions.

The solid brushed 316 stainless steel case, the 2mm thick screwed caseback, and the 8mm diameter crown, along with a high-quality gasket set, provide water resistance individually tested to 30 ATM = 300m = 1000ft. The watch's precision is guaranteed by the NH35A automatic movement, tuned to 21600 bph with a 41-hour power reserve and hacking seconds hand. The watch is sold with SIX STRAPS in a SPECIAL BOX. The caseback is personalized with the Unimatic x Grimoldi engraving and the individual progressive number.
