VUOTO, filling the gap with ideas: a project, an event, art and watches
VUOTO (meaning void in Italian) is a project created by sixteen young Visual Designers, Illustrators, Photographers, Graphic Designers and Filmmakers who decided to share their talents and collaborate together for a common goal: fill a void with their creativity.
VUOTO and GRIMOLDI MILANO meet
VUOTO found Elia, a young artist we wrote about in a previous article. He chose to fill in the empty space in a watch dial with his means of artistic expression, creating extraordinary and unique pieces.
Thanks to the ELIA ART Collection and the collaboration between GRIMOLDI MILANO and VUOTO’s creative force, a new event came to life, lasting 3 days at Galbusera Nera, in Parco del Curone, circa one hour from Milan.
For this occasion, the designers painted the dials of sixty unique watches, as well as their respective paintings on canvas and compiled a catalog for the production of digital content.
Art was not the only factor that made this event outstanding, but also its popularization: in fact, many people, mostly on the younger side, were involved thanks to photos and videos shared on the most popular social media channels.
L’ORA watches
Let us go beyond the hands of time and let us enter the lives of the multiple artists who painted the dials: these timepieces become real treasure chests full of experience, creative processes and thoughts.
As we observe the precious unique watches, we forget about time and instead immerse ourselves in the shapes, colors, traits and in the various expressions of a timeless art.
VUOTO’s mission
When life deprives us of something, we tend to want to fill the vacuum with what we miss the most: for the young creatives of VUOTO it was the presence of people during a lonesome pandemic.
As an advocate of this project, Francesco took his hometown, Altomonte, as a starting point, and called in his freelance friends, inviting them to create pieces where they could freely express their talents and professional skills.
As a result, he also promoted the town and its peculiar characteristics.
Why not give the VUOTO method a try with GRIMOLDI MILANO watches?
During the event at Galbusera Nera, the expression of art and creativity became collaborative: people got involved through social channels and it was an utter success.
What made the young team of VUOTO truly bond were harmony, trust, talent, a shared vision and the willingness to create, which is why GRIMOLDI MILANO decided to collaborate with them.
In the coming weeks, we will also write about an exhibition in the works: keep following us!
