The return of a legend: DOXA presents the new SUB 200 T.GRAPH II
The world of vintage divers and chronographs has a major new story to tell this month. DOXA has just officially unveiled the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II, the modern evolution of one of the very first and most fascinating diving chronographs ever created.
Originally launched in 1969, in an era when chronograph functionality applied to professional diving was a genuine rarity, the T.GRAPH returns today to redefine the standards of the vintage-inspired "tool watch."
An icon reimagined for the dontemporary wrist
The charm of historical models often clashes with imposing dimensions, but DOXA has approached the revival of the T.GRAPH with a refined rework of the "cushion" case geometries. The diameter drops from 43 to 42 mm, while the thickness goes from 15.15 to 14.6 mm.
This careful study of mass distribution and proportions slims down the watch's silhouette, ensuring universal stability and wearability on the wrist without compromising the unmistakable presence and legibility that made the brand famous.
A Diver underwater, a chronograph on land
Faithful to the pragmatic spirit of the original 1969 model, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II is not merely a water-resistant chronograph, but rather a proper diving instrument that integrates a chronograph complication.
- Underwater (up to 200 meters / 20 ATM): The ultimate reference tool remains the famous patented unidirectional rotating bezel, which allows for the immediate and safe monitoring of bottom times.
- On the surface: The chronograph function comes into play for measuring short time intervals, coordinated on the dial via the 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and the 60-second counter at 9 o'clock.
Powering the watch is a reliable staple of Swiss micromechanics: the Sellita SW510 Swiss automatic movement. The caliber operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a robust power reserve of approximately 56 hours.
The collection: the debut of the "Caribbean" Dial
The SUB 200 T.GRAPH II joins DOXA’s permanent collection with 8 new references. Alongside the brand's historic color palette—Professional orange, Searambler sunray silver, and Sharkhunter black—the captivating Caribbean dark blue makes its debut on this model. This deep hue, introduced by the brand in the late 1960s, blends beautifully with the watch's maritime nature.
All versions can be configured with two distinct personalities, both equipped with a wetsuit extension:
- The 316L stainless steel bracelet featuring the iconic "beads of rice" (grain de riz) mesh for a purely vintage look.
- The color-matched rubber strap matching the dial (particularly striking on the Professional and Caribbean versions) for a sportier, more direct look.
