Garmin Venu Sq 2: Amoled touch screen and 11-day battery
Garmin has announced the smartwatches with GPS Venu Sq 2 and Venu Sq 2 Music Edition, with the second that gives the possibility, thanks to an internal storage space, to listen to music stored while walking or during your workout.
The main novelty of the Venu Sq 2 series compared to the previous model is the transition from a liquid crystal screen to an Amoled touch screen. As a consequence, the screen resolution also increases from 240 x 240 pixels to 320 x 360 pixels with a slightly larger display: 1.41 "(in the previous version it was 1.31").
Another important change concerns battery autonomy, with Venu Sq 2 you get 11 days in smartwatch mode and 20 hours with active GPS.
Thanks to this new Garmin model, it is possible to monitor heart rate 24/7: it receives abnormal heart rate alerts when the body is at rest and measures oxygen in the blood.
Among the many applications there is the classic Garmin "body battery" view to better understand how the body is recovering after physical activity, stress tracking and sleep monitoring with a personalized score to be consulted in the morning after waking up.
Venu Sq 2 includes the app for breathing activity that can also be used to encourage conscious breathing, and uses the Garmin Connect application to monitor the menstrual cycle or pregnancy.
The snapshot of the state of health, on the other hand, records a 2-minute session to show the user key parameters such as heart rate, heart rate variability, Pulse Ox, breathing and stress.
Venu Sq 2 smartwatches include over 25 preloaded GPS and indoor sports apps, including walking, running, cycling, tennis, yoga, pilates and more.
With Venu Sq 2 you will always be connected thanks to the ability to receive text messages, view social updates, emails and more when the watch is paired with an iPhone or Android smartphone.
Venu Sq 2 Music Edition can store up to 500 songs directly on the watch, including playlists from Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer.
