The Presage SPB309J1 automatic men's watch is powered by the 6R38 caliber, a new caliber in the 6R family of movements. It is specially designed to allow the wearer to admire the swing of the mechanism through the opening located at 9 o'clock. It also offers a power reserve of 70 hours. Like all watches in this collection, this dial features the Asanoha, or hemp leaf, motif which has been used on Japanese fabrics since the Heian period, over a thousand years ago. While the case retains the strength and angularity that give the collection its distinctive look, it features a new design with a mirror finish between the top and side surfaces that gives the watch a new luster. The elegance of this new design is further emphasized by the tapering of the case inwards.
