In the 1960s, King Seiko timepieces were at the forefront of Seiko Watch Corporation’s developments in world-leading technical precision. ‘King Seiko’ originated when multiple factories created different watches to encourage innovation – one of the Japanese watch brand’s constant aims.
The dial on this model features a new silver-coloured Sunray finish designed to represent the classic elegance of the original 1965 inspiration. It has a slim KSK case design, whilst the sapphire glass edge gives a sharp reflection and is designed to stand out. The hour and minute hands have a diamond-cut specification which sparkle alongside the three-dimensional indices.
Powered by an in-house 6L35 calibre movement with an accuracy of +15 to -10 seconds per day, it has a bi-directional winding system and a rapid date changing mechanism.
Long live the new King Seiko: modernised elite watchmaking, yet its stately, dignified and majestically classic looks remain.
