Oris ProPilot The watch is powered by the revolutionary automatic Caliber 400 with five days of power reserve. But the real innovation this time is in its colorful dial, created with a futuristic laser technique never seen before in watchmaking. Incredibly, it doesn't contain even a drop of color pigment. Blue, green and purple reflections are generated by the refraction of light. It is a technological marvel.

The technology behind the colored dial of the watch is cutting-edge but is inspired by the principles of biomimicry, a science that imitates the wonders of nature. It is reminiscent of the iridescent wings of a beetle and the way they reflect light to appear blue-green. In this case, the same effect occurs. Oris developed this technique in collaboration with the prestigious Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and this is the first time it has been used in a watch. The result?
