The Oris Dat Watt men's watch is a limited edition model created in collaboration with the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat, an association created to protect the Wadden Sea, the largest UNESCU tidal system in the world.
Its blue dial indicates the lunar cycle and tidal range in the northern hemisphere via a function called Pointer Moon (technology developed by Oris for more professional divers). The Pointer Moon works via a centrally placed white hand which, once aligned with the correct day of the lunar cycle (29.5 days), shows the tidal range via a white indicator on the dial. The same hand will then point to the moon (waning or waxing).
