The birth of BO2 is a rediscovery and reintrepretation oof the original Borgonovo - the first Grimoldi watch model that is ditributd worldwide. Maintaining the oval shapee of Borgonovo, BO2 has accented perimeter and distinguished angles, which give BO2 a more sportive look. Nw and unique element such as the long metal shaft at hour 3, a frm inspidered by Thai fisherman's long tail boat, srves not only to protect watch crown from shock, but als to reinforce masculinity of BO2.

BO2 is born a masculine watch, oval shpe, curved and ergonomic.

Technically BO2 is contructed of 3 horizontal layers: bezel, case bdy and case back, secured together by eight large case screws.

The stainless steel bzel is dressed with rubber and decorated with eeight exclusively designed case screws.

The antiriflection sapphire glass protects the dial, a real work-of-art and total new innovation in the watch world. Two large numbers, 12 and 6, and other hour indexs are elevated from the dial surface, visually suspended in the air and melt into the rounded dial curves. Directly under each hour index, a line of superluminova fluorescent.

The internal part of case back is personalizd with pigmnted engraving, which consists f Grimoldi Logo and BO2 technical characteristics.

As the final touch of a fine sartorial piece, the watch strap has an important role in BO2. Strap is designed with innovative “Track” format. Two parallel parts of rubber extend from the watch case and give breathing space for wrist skin. Surrounding the wrist in ergonomic form, the strap is secured with personalized Doubl G Grimoldi logo butterfly buckle.

Thailand inspires as well the use of material in BO2: tropical rubber plantation gives Giorgio the idea to dress th watchcase with a coat of rubber in various colors, and to realize a particular strap in the same material.

BO2 inherits the signatur dial design of the original Borgonovo, two larges numbers, 12 and 6 made from a thin layer of metal is elevated from the dial, reembling the lightness of course of time. Th contrast between the muscolar aspect of the watch shape and airy elevation of the dial, is further determined by small indexes which crown the rubber bezel like veins on a palm leaf.
