Description
Casio analogue digital men's watch, Master of G model from the G-SHOCK line created to withstand use in extreme conditions. The new MUDMASTER GWG-2000 is the first G-SHOCK to be made of forged carbon, a lightweight yet durable material.
The GWG-2000 features a construction that makes them suitable for use in harsh environments characterized by dirt, sand, mud, dust or debris. It is the first G-Shock watch to use embossed carbon, a material used for the construction of airplanes or racing cars.
Forged carbon is a special type of resin reinforced with carbon fiber and is lighter than stainless steel, but much more resistant. This material, which can be modeled into complex shapes, is used to make the loop that connects the bezel to the two sides of the strap, ensuring structural protection to the dial.
Forged carbon is made from fragments of carbon fiber that are mixed with a resin and pressed into a mold at elevated temperature and pressure. Looking at the watch from certain angles, the fragments are visible on the surface and create a very pleasant and original random gray-black pattern.
The buttons of the watch have been revised to be absolutely resistant to mud, "mud resist". The combination of buttons with stainless steel tubes and additional internal silicone material give life to a watch that not only absorbs shocks, but is completely sealed, so as to ensure an even higher resistance to dust and mud than the previous model.
The case is made of resin reinforced with carbon fiber, a light but resistant material. The materials and construction have been reworked for a case that is 1.9 mm thinner than the previous model *. Drawing inspiration from professional equipment, the strap is worked like the non-slip rubber grips mounted on special vehicles and heavy machinery, while the keys are knurled for better control, features that make this watch a very practical and powerful object. The GWG-2000 is available in three colors: monochromatic gray, military khaki and light beige.
