G-Shock was born in Casio's Japanese laboratories from a challenge: to create an indestructible watch. After a series of experiments, in 1983, Kikuo Ibe and his team created "triple 10", the core technology of the G-Shock. The result was extraordinary, a watch capable of withstanding free fall from a height of 10 meters, water resistant to 20 bar and with a battery life of 10 years. After more than 200 models created, the first G-Shock was born: the most resistant and long-lasting watch in the world.
